Making Movie of “Ai no Keshiki”

For 5 months, 451 participants from 10 countries had spent their time with natural indigo dyed cloth, contained in a box with a hole to let sun light intentionally enter. Natural indigo color is known that it loses blue color under the long-term UV rays, strong room light or, of course, even daily uses. Artist Rowland Ricketts, sound artist Norbert Herber, Tokushima Prefecture and its main officer in charge Hiroo Izawa planned to use this natural indigo dyed color’s characteristic to express the daily lives’ of participants through the “personal” color changes.

On January 2018, the event “Ai no Keshiki” (Indigo Views), the art program organized by Tokushima Pref., was held to display “451 participants’ time” at Event Hall of Tokushima 21st Century Cultural Information Center.

Now its making movie is ready. (4K movie)
