『藍色展』出品作品のご紹介/ Products on Ai-Iro Exhibition

徳島県の文化の森・二十一世紀館にて、徳島産の天然染料「阿波藍」を使った藍染の作品展『藍色展』が行われています。

ここでは、『藍色展』に出品しているISSOの制作品をご紹介します。

Le Japon (Blue Frills)

「何歳になっても心の中にある“フリル”への憧れ。藍の色のフリルなら・・・」
大阪の生地メーカーが作ったリネンの生地をメインに制作した、弊社作家オリジナルのストールです。
縫いは、徳島のモデリスト・竹内恵子です。

“There is a kind of longing for “frill” in my mind and no matter how old I am. If it’s dyed with indigo…”
Our dyer uses linen woven in Osaka as its main fabric. All sewn by a modelist Keiko Takeuchi in Tokushima.

藍と木のペンダント/ Indigo-Tree Pendant

徳島の杉を使った木のペンダント。徳島在住の木工作家・湯浅喜義さんが、ひとつひとつ丁寧に削り出しています。ペンダントの紐は、京都の絹の打ち紐です。

A wooden pendant, using cedars from Tokushima and silk straps from Kyoto. Mr. Kiyoshi Yuasa, a woodworking artist living in Tokushima, carefully cut one by one.

AiCube – 阿波藍/Awa Ai, AiCube – 布/Fabrics

徳島産の天然染料「阿波藍」とその「阿波藍」で染めた布を、アクリルの中に封入したオブジェ。限られた、ごく小さな空間の中で見せるそれぞれの表情が印象的です。

Acrylic cubes with natural indigo dye “Awa Ai” and dyed fabrics. Each of them shows very characteristic things in a limited space.
