ISSOのものづくり
藍染そのものは日本全国にありますが、「青」をどのように表現し、ISSOの制作物を手にとって頂いた方々につくり手の想いをどのように伝えるか、当工房ではその点に特に重きをおいています。
藍にひそむ色そのものの魅力や、藍(タデアイ)という植物から湧き出してきた「青」の持つ生命力を感じていただけるよう、素材を活かしたシンプルなものづくりを心がけています。
ISSO’s Way of Thinking
Indigo dye itself has been handed down all over Japan or even all over the world. The points of what we especially focus on are how we express the color “blue” and convey our feelings to who take our products.
We, Isso, aim to make products that have advantages of materials and show the high-minded simplicity to let people feel both the charm hiding in the color and the energy lurking from plants.
